In an interview with the magazine “Agricultura e Mar”, one of the most important specialised media in the sector, David Sousa addresses the wide range of solutions that SEMPER provides for a complete and flexible response to the main challenges of its customers and partners.<\/p>\n

At a time of unpredictability and increased risks for agriculture, the magazine highlights the relevance of the company’s harvest insurance, given the insufficiency of support from the public system. In order to fill this gap, SEMPER presents as its core agricultural product the insurance of greenhouses and greenhouse cultures<\/a><\/strong>, “an insurance of material damage with operating losses that does not fit into the uniform harvest policy and, as such, does not comply with this basic criteria for access to the bonus. However, it guarantees greenhouse crops by insuring the producer’s turnover and, in the event of a claim, guarantees not only his harvesting costs but also his profit margin”.<\/p>\n

Parametric insurance<\/strong><\/a> is also highlighted, as it provides security and stability to insured companies in the face of the exposure of various industries to extreme weather events. David Sousa explains that “SEMPER has been increasing its portfolio of weather index solutions, through close contact with international insurers and insurtechs, guaranteeing the availability of these products to various sectors vital to the economy, such as agriculture, manufacturing, construction and energy”.<\/p>\n
